Privacy & Cookie Policy

Who we are
NoSabo (https://nosabolanguage.com) is a practice-first language-learning product. This policy covers the marketing website. The web app (where you sign in and practice) presents its own cookie banner and is covered by the same principles described here.
Cookies & similar technologies
We group cookies and local storage into two categories. You choose whether to allow the optional one via the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
Essential (always on)
- Authentication & session (in the web app): Firebase Authentication stores a small amount of data in your browser to keep you signed in and secure your session. The app cannot function without it, so it is exempt from consent.
- Your preferences: we store your cookie choice (and, in the app, settings such as exercise options) in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them.
Analytics (optional — off until you accept)
When you opt in, we use the following to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. None of these run, and no analytics cookies are set, unless you accept:
- PostHog — product analytics.
- LogRocket — session replay / diagnostics.
- Featurebase — feedback and feature requests.
The marketing website itself does not currently run any analytics; the banner records your choice so that any future analytics here, and the analytics in the app, respect it.
Third-party content
- Google Fonts: this site loads the Montserrat typeface from Google Fonts. This makes a request to Google’s servers (which may receive your IP address) to deliver the font files. Google Fonts does not set advertising or tracking cookies for this purpose.
- Example content: interactive demos fetch real practice sentences and audio from our own API; this does not set cookies.
Your choices & rights
- Accept or reject optional (analytics) cookies in the banner.
- Change your decision anytime via “Cookie preferences” in the footer (website) or the account menu (app).
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
